“Athena” Research Center will celebrate ‘Researcher’s Night 2016’ with a variety of activities and events

For another year, “Athena” Research Center takes part in the pan-European “Researcher’s Night” and invites visitors of all ages to celebrate science and technology, and take part in a series of activities, interactive games and workshops organized for the pre-event and main events in Athens and Xanthi.

This year, the main event will take place at the NCSR ‘Demokritos’ on September 30, 2016. “Athena” Research and Innovation Center has planned a number of interactive demos, workshops, a photo contest and exhibition, games and playful happenings. During the pre-event which will take place on September 27, at the “Athena” premises, our researchers will guide young and older visitors through the roads of scientific research in workshops, games and interesting activities hoping to convey their enthusiasm about their work and offer valuable inspiration to the researchers of tomorrow. A parallel event will also be organized by the Center’s Branch in Xanthi, the Department of Cultural Heritage Technologies. For more info, click here (in greek).
